By stating that "EFE IS HERE," our company, as a socially responsible business, finds it crucial to support the areas where we operate. Recently, EFE became the main sponsor of the Alley of Memory of Fallen Heroes project in Shchyrets, demonstrating its dedication to the community.
Shchyrets Village Head, Oleh Vasylyshyn, expressed his gratitude to EFE General Director, Erdzhan Oztop, for the financial support and involvement in the construction of the Alley of Memory of Fallen Heroes. The opening ceremony took place on 29th August, the Day of Remembrance for the Defenders of Ukraine, who died in the struggle for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of our country.
"This place will remind us again and again of the war, the glorious Heroes of today, and our sorrow and pain," said theShchyrets Village Council. "We must make every effort to keep the memory of our fallen Heroes alive, to ensure they receive the honor they deserve. It is our duty to preserve the memory of our Heroes and pass it on to future generations, as they gave the most valuable thing – their lives – for the future of Ukraine and for us. Now they will protect us from the heavens."
EFE's participation in the creation of the Alley is a contribution to preserving the memory that shapes our shared responsibility today. "We believe that the memory of the Heroes should remain alive not only on special days, but also be a part of our everyday life," said EFE CEO Ercan Oztop.
