On February 24, 2022, EFE stopped production for just three days. The team started receiving its first orders a week later. Since then, the company has not only expanded its production base, but also significantly increased its investment in development. EFE has launched two ready-mix concrete plants in addition to the existing three to ensure uninterrupted supply of reconstruction projects.
"Since the start of the full-scale invasion, we have invested over $15 million in increasing production capacity. This included expanding production, modernizing machinery and automating processes. In addition to launching additional concrete plants, we have commissioned new production lines for paving stones and reinforced concrete products," EFE CEO Erdzhan Oztop told NV .
In 2023, EFE started producing bridge girders at its industrial site in Shchyrets, which were used, among other things, to rebuild the bridge in Irpin, one of the landmark large-scale reconstruction projects. Today, the production capacity of EFE bridge girders reaches 120 pieces per month.
Today, the company has five industrial facilities in Ukraine producing ready-mixed concrete, reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, paving stones and custom solutions. EFE continues to increase its production of products needed for the reconstruction needs.
