EFE’s production site recently welcomed special guests—a delegation of ten leading German companies from the construction industry. The visit took place as part of an initiative organized by the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce ( AHK Ukraine ) in collaboration with the leading industry association VDMA, which brings together manufacturers of machinery and equipment in Germany and Europe.
The guests got a firsthand look at EFE’s operations, toured the company’s production facilities, learned about its approach to design solutions, and in turn shared their own best practices and recommendations.

In addition to a tour of the site, the EFE team presented its vision for the development of the Ukrainian construction market. We discussed current trends, the most pressing challenges, and the direction in which the industry is heading.
The shortage of skilled labor, the need to rapidly scale up construction, and the necessity of ensuring the energy efficiency of new facilities—these are the daily realities of the Ukrainian market. And this is precisely where our German partners’ expertise in automation and engineering culture can serve as a solid foundation for joint solutions.
German companies have extensive experience in the construction industry and carry out complex projects with high energy efficiency and minimal use of human resources, which is extremely critical today, especially during Ukraine’s reconstruction. “Their expertise in automation can significantly help us meet this challenge, ” noted Mykhailo Laponov, head of the EFE design department.
This visit is part of a broader trend. International interest in Ukraine’s construction sector is growing, and this is no coincidence: the country’s reconstruction is already shaping one of the largest markets in Europe.
We see significant potential for our companies to launch or expand their operations in Ukraine, as demand for construction is very high. At the same time, in Germany and Europe, we have the necessary equipment to meet these needs. In my opinion, Ukraine is currently at the beginning of a more modern approach to construction. And we can make a significant contribution, particularly in terms of more efficient use of resources and improving the quality of future buildings, said Stefan Ome of the VDMA.

The EFE team is convinced that these meetings are just the beginning of an ongoing dialogue—a dialogue about joint projects, technology transfer, new standards, and shared responsibility for the outcome. And we are delighted that this dialogue is already taking place here at our production facility.
